
Stephen Gaboury has collaborated with Marilyn Klaus since 1980 and received a Grammy nomination in 2004 for his arrangements for rock legend Cyndi Lauper. Gaboury tours internationally with Lauper and has written and produced music for film and television, including scores for director Charlotte Zwerin’s documentary Sculpting the Earth, about Isamu Noguchi, and Maysles Films’ Islands, on the artist Christo. Gaboury has also been conductor and musical director for Ute Lemper, Angela Bofill, Peruvian legend Yma Sumac, and the Laura Nyro Memorial Concert, featuring Patti Labelle, Ricki Lee Jones, and Phoebe Snow. As a pianist, he has recorded with Jane Siberry, Suzanne Vega, Shawn Colvin, Roseanne Cash, and Jill Sobule.
